Our Verdict
We wrote about this offer a few weeks ago as a rumor, and it’s now been confirmed as already available in branch. Reports indicate it will become available online on July 3, 2024.
Over 3 years ago Chase increased the bonus offer on this card to 100,000 points, and now they’re running a in increase to 120,000 points (probably a time-limited offer). They’re keeping the lower $8,000 spend requirement which is nice.
The big question is whether referrals will update to the 120,000 offer. If that happens, this will be a historically amazing offer for someone in 2-player mode to get 160,000 Ultimate Reward points with a single signup and $8,000 of spend. Remember, referrals are paying out 40,000 points per approval until September 2024.
Another big question is whether (after publicly available) they’ll match those who signed up for the lower 100k offer. Lately they have been matching, and I think they chances are good. We’ll have to wait until July to find out.
Check out these Things to Know about Chase Credit Cards before applying. We’ll add this to our List of Best Credit Card Signup Bonuses when it becomes available online.
Related – Chase is matching the lower spend requirement for those who signed up earlier with the higher spend requirement (YMMV).

Just did this in-branch. They had to call to confirm some information (I think I have some LexisNexis stuff to resolve).
No issue getting approved though. They pulled my TransUnion this time (not sure what they pulled last time tbh).

Also, this is my 3rd CIP. First one was in August of last year, next one was in February, and then finally this one in June of this year.
I have a legitimate business btw.

Not sure it matters, but figured I would ask..
If I was going to send a SM to match this offer since I applied for the 100k offer a month ago, would you guys wait until the 120k offer is showing online or would you try to match with the current in-branch only offer?
Reply
Phil
If you applied in-branch, ask for a match ASAP. Otherwise, you should wait for the online public offer.

I am mostly retired receiving income from T-Bills and mutual funds.
Will I be approved?
How much income are they looking for?

Nobody can tell you whether you will get approved, but if you read the extensive and helpful information in Things to know about Chase Cards, linked above, you will have a better understanding of the process. Income is only one of several factors.

I’ve opened 4 Inks (1 closed) in total. But, I can’t remember the usage of SSN or EIN or SSN+EIN that I’ve used for the past 4 Inks. Will Chase let me know if I call them and ask or should I just roll the dice and go through appeal if potential denial? Thanks for any advice!

My understanding, each new card app could in theory be for a completely different “business,” and therefore is treated as such.
In other words, you may have a sole prop ebay shop, and a separate sole prop photographer business, along with a landscaping LLC, etc.
Maybe you’re a serial entrepreneur. Why should a financial institute deny your app for a new business just because it doesn’t match up perfectly with what is on file for previous applications.

DP: Just got approved in branch as a sole prop with my SSN. No business documentation needed, they just asked about revenue and expected spending.

Your spouse/significant other.
Hobbyists presume that “P2” enjoys the perks of our game and might even be willing to pickup a gift card while running errands, but doesn’t roll around with a rolladex of credit cards and has a tendency to make mistakes because they don’t understand the critical differences between paying for the groceries with the blue card that ends in 0441 because it’s June, not the blue ending 0222 (that was May! fool!)

Why do you say this is part of the 5/24? It changed? I’ve had 2 of these business cards in the past. It was never counted as a 5/24.

It won’t count towards 5/24 if approved but if you’re over 5/24 you won’t be approved

Jake I haven’t heard any success stories. Once it becomes an online public link, you can probably send a secure message.

I think it will be difficult to match a branch only offer unless the previous was also done in the branch.

Jake Like I said, once it becomes an online public link (early July according to the post), you can send a secure message to match.
