10KTF, launched on September 17, 2021, is an online shop in New Tokyo (virtual city) run by Wagmi-san, a fictional world-famous craftsman who loves to give you airdrops.

10KTF allows users to create derivatives of their existing NFTs from a variety of compatible NFT collections.

Each 10KTF accessory is a 1 of 1 digital collectible that will only be created once. It offers unique metaverse wearables for holders of specific NFT projects. Collectors were able to mint NFTs that featured high-top sneakers, backpacks, socks, and even items from a collaboration with Gucci.

The project has now grown into a big story that features Wagmi-san as a shop owner, fighting to keep his shop from being shut down by a mafia of frogs called Boss Toadz.

We’re actually helping Wagmi-san hold onto his materials so the Yakuza can’t steal them.

Ultimately, the shop was heavily burned in the war. And they are launching a combat game now called Battle.town.

Battle.town is a PFP Event Platform where players can use their 10KTF items to join Missions in the ongoing Battle for New Tokyo.

Level 1 consisted of wearable gear that users should’ve owned. Examples of such level 1 items are grailed accessories from the 10KTF Genesis or Crafted collections. This includes High Tops, Daypacks, Hats, Hoodies, and Socks.

The upcoming Battle Town Level 2 is introducing new items…. Level 2 items are from the 10KTF Combat collection. These items include Helmets, Kevlar Vests, Boots, flamethrowers, guns, and riffles. Combat items will give players the ability to yield higher points on set bonuses in Battle.town Missions. In order to acquire level 2 items, users will need to mint a crate.

Once all Crates have made it safely, players can open their Crates on August 18 at 1 PM PT. Level 1 + Level 2 PFP minting begins August 18 at 3 PM PT.

When revealed, each crate will contain 1 Combat Blank. These Blanks will require a 10KTF-supported parent NFT in order to mint a 1:1 Combat item. 10KTF Gucci Grails is not a parent NFT.

Then, how to play the game?

After connecting your wallet, you will be able to select Missions and join by sending your loadout of Avatars equipped with 10KTF items to help Wagmi-san’s cause.

Confirm your loadouts during the Mission registration period. Registration periods will be different for each Mission. A countdown timer on Battle.town will update to notify players before each registration period, and for the duration of the Mission. So you need to pay attention to their official Twitter.

After completing a Mission, a reward may be available for claim.

At 10KTF’s discretion, Mission rewards may include: Storypoint badges, Stockroom Materials, physicals, or other items. These items will be available for claim and redemption on Battle.town after each Mission is completed.

Wagmi-san is promising significant value for all holders such as token drops and perks beyond the metaverse.

Individual items will get a multiplier based on their rarities as follows:

• Uncommon: 2x
• Rare: 4x
• Epic: 8x

At the beginning, minting blanks are free. Owners of the parent NFTs only need to pay gas fees.

For Level 1 finished items, owners will have to pay 20 $APE, excluding the gas fees. Whereas Level 2 finished items will require a combat blank plus gas fees.

In addition to the 10KTF collection, Wagmi-san’s customers that hold 10KTF Stockroom tools and materials can now use them to craft blank items. Blank items can be used to create their desired derivative NFT.

When the shop is open, Wagmi-san will be crafting Level 1 Stockroom Blanks and accessories, as well as Level 2 combat gear.

The 10KTF stockroom has tools (reusable) and materials (consumables) that can be used to make blank shoes, bags, hoodies, etc at The Shop.

Anyone with a supported parent PFP can then come to The Shop (currently closed) with the blanks and pay. Mint (~0.1eth + gas) to craft their PFP on a 10KTF item. These items will have the Crafted property.

There are only 3 tools in Wagmi-San’s Shop: Thimble, Scissors, and Tape Measure. Each tool can be staked to yield the token $NTD at different rates; ~16, 32, and 64 $NTD/day, respectively.

As you may see, 10KTF has partnered with major PFP collections which means the NFT whales are all aware of the project and many are holders.

New Tokyo Dollars ($NTD) is 10KTF’s new in-game ERC-20 Token. NTD will enable you to acquire the next phase of materials, tools, grailed items, physical rewards, and adventures yet to be discovered in New Tokyo.

It is possible, of course, all the $NTD that 10KTF users have been accumulating will actually be given to them in $APE In a certain proportion.

10KTF’s first official collaboration is with @Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele. Eligible members were airdropped a Gucci Mint Pass, allowing them to “Guccify” their Wagmi-San’s PFP.

In a word, their team enjoys a reputation that is second to none. Few of these members and cooperations are directly announced to the public. All kinds of details are disclosed and decrypted by holders.

There’s probably going to be more collaborations with Adidas, Apple, Sandbox, Netflix in the future.

On the 6th of August 2022, 10KTF released the first mint specifically targeted to “Badge”, aka people who participated in missions in the Battle Town and $APE holders. Badge holders can invite others and get a new recruiting Badge.

They harness the power of the $APE and Badge holders to bring in friends of both old and new into Battle Town, and players can open their Crates on August 18 at 1 PM PT.

In this case, traction was gained because they use an effective invitation mechanism.
